Job summary

Crane is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Houston to monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, enter location, date and time into the TMS, and communicate with carriers to confirm driver locations.

You will escalate issues to Carrier Sales and Business Development, work with Account Managers and colleagues to meet service levels, and ensure shipment security and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of US Geography.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors shipment status from pickup through delivery.
• Enters shipment location, date and time into TMS.
• Contacts carriers and drivers to determine driver location.
• Escalates service failures to Carrier Sales and Business Development.
• Collaborates with Account Managers, Account Executives and Carrier Sales Representatives to meet service level expectations.
