Job summary

DP World is seeking an Operations Planner to coordinate transportation activities from order registration through final delivery, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries while addressing shipment exceptions and inventory issues.

You will support rate quoting, order registration, and collaboration with customers and internal teams. Strong Excel skills and RF Portal experience are essential, with travel to the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly.
• Experience coordinating telecommunications delivery is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; Excel for tracking and analysis.
• Experience managing inventory in RF Portal or manual systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation activities from order registration through final delivery to keep shipments on time.
• Provide rate quotes for nonstandard or expedited transportation requests.
• Register customer orders and identify special transportation requirements.
• Track and trace shipments and report service failures with late codes.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies with customers and communicate updates.
