Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of drivers and hourly staff at a single location in Elizabethtown, KY. You will direct daily tasks, coordinate loading/unloading, and ensure exceptional customer service while adhering to costs and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Must demonstrate ownership and responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure daily task execution and customer service.
• Supervise logistics operations including freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to associates.
• Evaluate work methods to increase productivity and assist in new associate training.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Plan work assignments to optimize fleet utilization and prevent overtime.
• Manage scheduling, performance, and disciplinary actions as needed.
