Job summary

TA Services in Indianapolis is seeking a seasoned logistics leader to manage customer relationships, oversee daily operations, and drive profitability across carrier networks. You will lead teams, optimize transportation planning, and partner on strategy to deliver exceptional service and value to clients.

The role emphasizes coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
5+ years of related experience in customer service, transportation, logistics, or a related field.
Transportation Management Systems (TMS) experience required.

Responsibilities

Customer and account management, handling relationships and escalations.
Lead customer meetings, reporting, and service reviews.
Oversee daily operations and service performance with a focus on continuous improvement.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Lead, coach, and develop Specialists, Planners, and Senior Planners.
Oversee load planning, TMS processes, and carrier performance.
Develop carrier strategy, rates, and solutions.
Manage profitability, P&L, invoicing, and collections.
Support growth, service expansion, and strategic initiatives.
