Job summary

TA Services is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end shipment activities, coordinate carrier relationships, and communicate with customers and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries. The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and collaboration in a fast-paced freight environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in logistics coordination, exposure to major logistics software, and strong MS Office skills; a degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or customer service.
• Proficiency with logistics software such as McLeod, Mercury Gate, DAT, Truckstop, and E2open.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Power BI for reporting.
• Familiarity with carrier networks and freight operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
• Carrier management: book and manage relationships with competitive rates and compliant documentation.
• Serve as the main point of contact between customers, carriers, and drivers to provide updates and confirm delivery details.
• Maintain shipment records (PODs, BOLs, rate confirmations) and generate performance reports.
• Identify and resolve delays, equipment issues, and schedule changes to keep operations running smoothly.
