Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in the United States (Brookshire, TX area) to monitor and coordinate branch logistics operations, including setup, delivery, and warehousing. The role supports purchasing, inventory control, reporting, and training for staff across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of warehouse experience, supervisory background, SAP experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, but a High School diploma or equivalent education is needed.
• 5–7 years of warehouse experience required.
• 3–5 years in supply chain for a distribution center or similar operation.
• Strong supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with material replenishment logic and warehouse equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a staff of logistics operations employees.
• Assists in timely purchasing and receiving of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Oversees inventory control, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and fixed assets.
• Ensures timely updates and communication of job orders to internal and external clients.
• Oversees and schedules coverage for warehouse, set-up, and delivery operations.
• Provides input in inventory management and coordination to leadership.
• Maintains reporting requirements (order statuses, receipts, delivery lists, counts).
• Maintains high internal/external customer service experience levels.
• Maintains vendor/material updates and communicates to master data team.
• Assists with facility maintenance and branch office repairs.
• Tracks returned/damaged goods for credit.
• Leads and coaches warehouse operations team; cross-trains for overflow coverage.
• Maintains SOPs for logistics per policy and best practices.
• Assists with deliveries in the field and related equipment movements.
• Assists with daily trash and recycling management.
• Other duties as assigned.
