Job summary
Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate inbound/outbound transportation, optimize carrier selection, and manage FTZ/CTPAT compliance to support production. The role includes auditing invoices, tracking detention/demurrage, and driving cost-saving process improvements.
The candidate will analyze freight costs, obtain quotes, create SAP goods receipts, and ensure accurate compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Freight audit experience and coordination across ocean/rail/truck/LTL/parcel.
- SAP or similar software experience.
- FTZ administration, CTPAT documentation, HTS awareness, carrier management and detention/demurrage cost control knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound/outbound transportation data and carrier selection.
- Coordinate routing, pickup numbers, container priority and expediting.
- Administer FTZ/CTPAT/CBP records and shipments.
- Analyze freight costs, obtain quotes, audit invoices and monitor detention/demurrage.
- Drive logistics reporting, claims, compliance and process improvements.
- Coordinate MRO shipments and container returns.
- Investigate and file freight claims for damage or delay.
- Monitor carrier performance and port/trail congestion; recommend mitigations.
- Other duties as assigned.
