Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Logistics Operations Supervisor in Clayton, IN. The role involves supervising daily logistics department activities, coordinating inbound consolidations, and ensuring cost-efficient processing within defined standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, with 4+ years in logistics and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, plus proficiency in MS Office and standard logistics software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years related experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide control oversight for all department activities. Conduct annual performance reviews and address performance issues promptly.
• Develop and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Set up and maintain files for all consolidation documents and records.
• Review inbound documentation for assigned accounts and provide quotes as needed; update Customer Profiles in the system.
• Manage pre-alerts daily, confirm freight arrival times, and notify customers of status; ensure documents reach the branch promptly.
