Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Clayton, Indiana is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a high-volume multi-client logistics operation. You will ensure high service quality, profitability, cost-efficiency, and compliance with ISO standards and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

You will model behaviour on our guiding principles and core values. Responsibilities include coordinating customer service across stations, driving contract profitability, growing existing business, overseeing safety and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, 3PL or Transportation. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum ten years relevant experience.
• Expertise in operations and business management.
• Experience managing big box retail operations
• 3PL Industry experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct customer service efforts from all station departments to ensure ongoing service and maintain customer relations.
• Attainment of profit objectives of contracts with financial analysis and decision making for the customer.
• Develop organic growth and additional business opportunities with existing customers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost control programs; adhere to ISO standards and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Lead and foster problem solving; build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Oversee staffing and contract labor to meet customer needs while controlling costs.
• Write procedures, test hiring, and train managerial and operational personnel.
• Promote use of Performance Management systems to drive continuous improvement.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Logistics/3PL/Transportation

Master’s Degree preferred
