Job summary

Staples is seeking a detail-oriented operations analyst to support warehouse reporting and process improvements in Portland. You will run reports in WMS and Sunbeam, assist leadership with workflow management, and communicate findings to supervisors to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic Microsoft Excel experience.
• 1+ years of basic knowledge of EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400, Sunbeam, BRIO, Cubiscan equipment or AMS software.
• Certification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Run reports in systems such as WMS, Sunbeam or other WMS or labor reporting systems.
• Assist department leader in managing the workflow as needed.
• Provide required information to supervisors and managers to meet reporting and metric requirements.
• Assist with communicating information to departmental teams.
• Analyze data and develop recommendations for action or improvement.
• Maintain system as upgrades or business changes occur.
• Ensure compliance with systems and SOPs and audit activity for compliance.
• Coordinate and communicate major changes or enhancements to the systems.
• Work with clerical staff, supervisors and managers locally and at central administration.
• Interact with customer service to expedite high touch requests and resolve issues.
• Provide support and backup for operations specialist roles in other departments.
• Support and backup in various warehouse areas as needed.
• Direct associate concerns to department leader.
