Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to run reports in WMS and labor systems, assist leadership, and provide information for reporting compliance. The role involves data analysis, system maintenance, and cross-team collaboration to improve processes.

You will work closely with clerical staff, supervisors, and managers, handling high-touch customer requests and supporting multiple warehouse functions. A background in Excel and WMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic Microsoft Excel computer skills.
• Knowledge of EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400, Sunbeam, BRIO, Cubiscan equipment.
• Certification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Run reports in systems like WMS or labor reporting systems.
• Assist department leader in managing the workflow.
• Provide information to supervisors to meet reporting requirements.
• Coordinate communications with departmental teams.
• Analyze data and develop improvement recommendations.
• Maintain systems through upgrades or changes.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and audits.
• Coordinate major system changes or enhancements.
• Collaborate with clerical, supervisors, and managers.
• Interact with customer service to expedite high touch requests.
• Provide backup for operations specialist roles.
• Support various warehouse areas as needed.
• Direct associate concerns to leadership.
