Job summary

RTC is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage daily distribution of plant resources across customer programs, ensuring on-time, complete shipments. You will work with Sales, Corporate, and Account Services to review shortages and communicate risks, while coordinating with Production and Shipping to balance workloads and avoid delays.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics coordination with TL/LTL carriers, strong Excel/Word skills, and a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or College Degree strongly preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant logistics coordination with TL/LTL carriers; warehousing/procurement exposure and ERP systems experience preferred.
• Skills: strong problem-solving, prioritization, organization, communication at all levels, customer service, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate distribution of plant resources and activities for daily production and logistics management.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Sales, and Account Services to align priorities, review shortages, and provide shipment ETA updates.
• Review daily shortage and open order reports to ensure on-time, complete customer orders.
• Plan production/logistics activities with Production, Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping to prevent delays.
• Participate in daily cross-functional meetings and oversee pick/pack, QA, staging, and shipping for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Project Managers to align output with shipping priorities and customer delivery requirements.
