Job summary

TALKE USA, INC. offers an entry-level apprenticeship in logistics and transportation in Baytown, TX. The Logistics & Operations Associate role provides full-time, on-site training for those new to the workforce, with scheduling support, shipment tracking and daily logistics tasks.

Participants gain hands-on experience, complete training, and earn a Certificate in Logistics & Supply Chain Management through Lee College upon program completion, with benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Residence: Reside within the Lee College – Baytown Campus district.
• Skills: Basic computer knowledge (email, typing, MS Office); strong attention to detail; good communication and teamwork.
• Other: 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, able to work in the U.S., pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling shipments and coordinating deliveries.
• Update tracking information in company systems.
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and customers to provide updates.
• Help organize paperwork, including delivery confirmations and shipping documents.
• Support daily tasks to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Learn how to use logistics software and develop industry knowledge through on-the-job training.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
