Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, OR 1 year of management/leadership experience in transportation/logistics.
• Willingness to travel to account locations and regionally relocate as needed.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Preferred: experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and carriers to set up new carriers and improve productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and participate in special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Learn to supervise drivers and internal staff, including training and orientation on systems and processes.
• Manage yard operations, equipment checks, and maintenance coordination to ensure safety and uptime.
• Assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight, and resolve service issues to meet customer requirements.
