You will focus on DOT compliance and build strong relationships with internal and external contacts to optimize performance. The role involves working with payroll-like duties, budgeting, reporting, and ongoing process improvements, including nights and weekends as needed to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Logistics or related field OR HS diploma with 1 year of management/transportation experience.
• Willingness to travel to account/customer/company locations when applicable.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safe outside carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and on special projects related to fleet optimization and profitability.
• Train and orient drivers and internal/third-party staff in relevant systems.
• Maximize efficiency of fleet operations and provide profitability insights and reports.
• Manage yard operations and coordinate maintenance for account equipment.
• Assist in resolving service issues, routing, and on-call situations.
• Maintain safety culture with daily safety messages, trainings, and DOT compliance.
