Job Summary

The Logistics Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations including daily workflow, asset accountability, systems management, fleet management, safety programs, general maintenance, and overall financial management. The role involves developing and implementing effective processes to ensure timely delivery and return of assets to support our venue operation teams.

Essential Functions

1. Creates and maintains a safety culture in all warehouse operations, emphasizing training, policies, inspections, and audits for compliance.
2. Develops efficient warehouse systems, processes, and controls to support business objectives.
3. Implements inventory management solutions to ensure operational productivity, asset availability, and tracking, reducing shortages.
4. Establishes and maintains equipment inspection processes to ensure quality control and prompt repairs for rental assets.
5. Manages receiving and distribution of assets related to Capex and supply orders, including inspection, accountability, processing, barcoding, shipment tracking, and reporting.
6. Provides leadership, planning, and delegation to the logistics team to meet short-term and long-term goals.
7. Conducts regular physical inventory audits for asset accountability.
8. Oversees warehouse budget, expenses, personnel, maintenance, equipment, fleet, and housekeeping.
9. Collaborates with Learning & Development to create training programs for warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with regulations.
10. Develops and maintains reporting metrics on equipment utilization, shipments, repairs, transfers, and schedules.
11. Seeks innovations to improve logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory management and asset accountability.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of four (4) years in warehouse leadership or supervisory roles, or equivalent experience.
• At least four (4) years of AV industry experience and knowledge of equipment.
• Hands-on experience with ERPs and project management tools.
• Proven ability to lead teams and foster long-term relationships with internal and external partners.

• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
• Knowledge of AV equipment and supplies.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of logistics and inventory management legal and corporate guidelines.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit at a desk and operate in a warehouse environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, crouching, standing, and walking for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
