Job summary

SYNNEX Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Romeoville, IL. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment and facility assets within our logistics center, with emphasis on safely handling electrical systems and conveyors.

You will learn CMMS usage, manage spare parts, and support safe, reliable operations while working a 9am–5:30pm schedule with pay ranging from $25.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and replace AC/DC motors, drives, and gearboxes under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and building assets in the logistics center.
• Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software.
• Work with electrical systems from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase.
• Assist in removal and installation of equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Operate CMMS to record maintenance tasks.
• Keep tools in good condition and maintain clean equipment and facility areas.
• Follow Lock Out-Tag Out procedures and safety standards.
