Job summary

Security Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Romeoville, IL to perform diversified mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and documentation of PM activities.

The ideal candidate will diagnose problems, replace parts, read wiring schematics, and follow GMP and LOTO procedures while communicating clearly with the maintenance team and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of or current pursuit of a 2-year trades degree is preferred.
• 4 years of plant maintenance experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate maintenance tools and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to PM schedules and safety policies.
• Read manuals and work orders; interpret mechanical/electrical schematics in English.
