Job summary

TD SYNNEX in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets. You will learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software, and safely work with electrical systems from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase, while assisting with removal/installation of equipment.

You will also maintain spare parts inventory, operate CMMS, manage tools, and uphold strong safety and attendance standards in a role

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
Ability to replace and diagnose AC/DC electric motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technician.
Basic mechanical repair and troubleshooting (bearings, chains, belts).

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and building assets within the logistics center.
Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software.
Safely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase.
Assist with the removal and installation of equipment.
Assist in maintaining all spare parts inventory.
Learn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Maintain assigned tools and ensure they remain in good working condition.
Maintain a clean and quality appearance of all equipment and facility assets.
Follow all Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, including execution and recordkeeping.
Meets all attendance policy and lead by example for all safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
