Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our distribution center in Ohio. The 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM shift will involve preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment to keep operations safe and reliable.

The role requires 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with conveyor and electrical/AC-DC systems expertise, welding skills, and CMMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining and repairing conveyor systems.
• Training or experience in electrical controls and AC/DC electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience, including welding safety practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, electrical controls, mechanical equipment, motors, gearboxes, and drives.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records in the CMMS system.
• Assist with equipment installations, facility projects, and maintenance planning.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks while following all safety procedures.
• Support inventory management of maintenance tools and spare parts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in on-the-job training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety standards.
• Work overtime or on-call as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
