Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with office and mailing equipment including computer, printer, scanner, fax, photocopier, and mailing machine.
• Experience with word processing, mailing, and related software applications.
• Ability to perform physical labor for a full shift (8 hours) with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work with accuracy and communicate effectively with colleagues and the campus community.
• Ability to drive a College mail delivery vehicle and forklift safely.
• Ability to select appropriate shipping methods and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Opens the mail center, checks voice mails, runs reports, and updates the transaction log date.
• Runs accounting reports and clears posted data monthly.
• Delivers mail and packages to the campus mail room and sorting areas.
• Operates the bulk mailing equipment and software for bulk mailings.
• Loads and tracks fixed assets in the College system.
• Cross-trains with Shipping & Receiving, Campus Services and Grounds Maintenance.
• Reports concerns or injuries to supervisor.
