Job summary

The role trains on compliance with DOT regulations and coordinating with drivers and customers. The program focuses on payroll management, budgeting, route planning, and performance reporting to improve fleet profitability and service reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; or GED with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer, and company locations.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to regionally relocate depending on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and carriers to ensure seamless new carrier set-up and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and on special projects related to optimizing fleet operations and profitability.
• Learn to utilize personnel management including training and orientation of drivers and/or employees.
• Become proficient in maximizing efficiency of fleet operations and profitability and making recommendations for continuous improvement, measuring KPIs and presenting reporting.
• Gain knowledge on inventory, assets, customer pools and/or assignment of drivers to balance equipment.
• Learn to perform payroll, Net-Revenue budgeting, driver counseling, accident reviews, and invoicing.
• Learn to manage yard operations, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance.
• Learn to assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight movement, and address service issues.
• Maintain the Company’s safety culture and DOT compliance.
