Job summary

DMG MORI Manufacturing USA, Inc. in Davis, CA is seeking a Logistics Lead to coordinate daily logistics operations, support production schedules, and ensure on-time customer deliveries.

You will lead warehouse staff, maintain accurate ERP/MRP transactions, and oversee receiving, kitting, inventory control, material movement, and shipping activities. You will partner with Production, Purchasing, and cross-functional teams to improve material flow, promote 5S and safety, track KPIs, and drive

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading daily warehouse operations and coordinating teams.
• Strong ERP/MRP, inventory control, and Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Assign, prioritize, and support daily work activities for receiving, kitting, material movement, shipping, and inventory control.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and timely ERP/MRP transactions.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and support audits to maintain accuracy.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and transportation providers.
• Train, mentor, and support logistics personnel with focus on safety and 5S.
