Qualifications

• Vendor management experience in manufacturing purchasing is required.
• Negotiation skills with vendors are required.
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP data and reporting.
• Mechanical/Electrical engineering background is required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for spreadsheets analysis.

Responsibilities

• Input and maintain supplier and part procurement data into MRP daily.
• Create purchase orders and send them to suppliers after confirming price and lead time.
• Maintain data integrity to drive lean inventory optimization.
• Evaluate and develop suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery standards.
• Generate reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
