Job summary

Standard Construction Company, Inc. in Cordova, Tennessee, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee delivery of aggregates and asphalt, coordinate trucking, and ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations.

The role is salaried, supervising the trucking department, planning production priorities, and working with management to maintain budgets and meet customer delivery commitments. A high school diploma and 3+ years supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in transportation operations.
• Experience with DOT driver files and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery of aggregates and asphalt, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-efficient operations.
• Maintain DOT driver files and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise trucking department personnel and coordinate with management on schedules and production priorities.
• Review productivity, QC, and safety reports to drive continual improvements and cost controls.
• Communicate with customers and other departments to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
