Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of transportation, logistics, fleet management, dispatch leadership, or related operational experience.
• Experience within construction materials, aggregates, asphalt, trucking, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Experience managing company-owned fleets and third-party transportation providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize transportation and logistics operations to support aggregate quarries, asphalt plants, paving crews, and construction projects.
• Oversee the movement and storage of materials, balancing customer service, production schedules, capacity, safety, and cost control.
• Lead dispatchers and work with the Transportation Manager and Field Managers to allocate resources.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and related requirements.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, fleet utilization, and cost per ton transported.
