Job summary

PLS Logistics Services is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to help customers move freight coast-to-coast, with 24/7/365 support. The role offers a $52,000 starting salary, uncapped commissions, and comprehensive benefits as you build a client portfolio and negotiate rates.

You will train and onboard quickly, learn our transportation management system, and advance within a thriving sales team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with drive to grow client base.

Responsibilities

• Act as essential resource for customers shipping freight nationwide 24/7/365.
• Develop a portfolio of clients by cold calling using provided industry leads.
• Negotiate pricing to close deals and resolve client service issues.
• Maintain accurate updates in the tracking system throughout the day.
• Be the trusted advisor to customers, helping manage their logistics challenges.
• Liaise with Logistics Coordinators to balance workload and win more business.
