Job summary

PLS Logistics Services in Missouri is seeking a Sales Representative to act as a key resource for customers, helping ship their freight across the nation, 24/7/365. The inside sales role comes with the passionate support of our company and your co-workers around you.

You will begin with fully paid training, build a client portfolio through cold calling, and learn to negotiate pricing while addressing client service issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years cold calling experience required.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell freight services nationwide and act as a trusted advisor for clients.
• Develop a client portfolio through cold calling and industry leads.
• Negotiate pricing and close deals while maintaining relationships.
• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinators to support customers and move work efficiently.
• Maintain accurate updates in the tracking system and stay informed on rates, capacities, and carriers.
• Pursue growth opportunities and promotions within the sales organization.
