Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Manager in Etna, OH to oversee the efficient operation of accounts within the Supply Chain Solutions division. The role includes P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety.

You will manage both salaried and hourly staff and collaborate with senior management to meet client needs. The position requires strong leadership, operational analytics, and hands-on management of payroll, vendor quotes, and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Two or more years managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under your responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and operate the account to meet demands.
• Be responsible for payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L to determine profitability and provide weekly operations reports to senior management.
• Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Hold Safety & Security meetings and provide safety training.
