Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Logistics Manager in Etna, OH to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain Solutions division, driving profitability, service quality, and safety across accounts.

Responsibilities include managing salaried and hourly staff, collaborating with senior management and customers, payroll oversight, and analyzing weekly P&L to report to leadership. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Two or more years of managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly staff, resolve performance issues, ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
• Oversee payroll and report weekly P&L to senior management.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings, provide training, ensure safety compliance.
