Job summary

J.B. Hunt is seeking a Manager Trainee in Pleasant Prairie, WI, to learn the management of a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends, while ensuring safe, timely freight movement and top customer service.

The role includes training to comply with DOT regulations, supervising drivers, and coordinating with internal and external contacts to plan, route, monitor, and deliver freight and loads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is required or 1 year of related experience with HS diploma.
• Willingness to travel to account locations when applicable.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and carriers to set up new partnerships.
• Cover for absent staff and support fleet optimization projects.
• Assist with driver training and onboarding processes.
