Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee in Wisconsin to learn and support the management of a driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.

You will focus on safe, timely freight movement, load assignment, and delivering best-in-class customer service while training for DOT compliance. Responsibilities include relationship building with drivers and carriers, supporting fleet operations, and developing reporting and financial analysis for customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 1 year of related experience, and willingness to travel for accounts/events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Willingness to regionally relocate depending on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build positive relationships with drivers and outside carriers for new carrier setup and ongoing productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train in personnel management, including driver training and orientation, and customer system support.
