Job summary

Adient plc is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the Normal, IL location. You will manage daily shipping activities, verify windows, and maintain accurate paperwork to support trailer inventory and BOS requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating route manifests, tracking trailer movements, and ensuring CTPAT and safety procedures. The role requires 1–2 years in shipping/receiving, proficiency with Excel, and ERP systems familiarity. 2nd shift 3:30pm–12am.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in shipping/receiving or inventory coordination
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution; automotive a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily route manifests and ensure shipping windows are met
• Maintain dock/yard inventory and trailer movements to support production lines
• Ensure accurate packing, receiving, and BOS paperwork for trailers in yard
• Input incoming receipts promptly and maintain records of packing slips and returns
• Maintain Truckload Utilization tracking (TUMS) and comply with BOS requirements
