Job summary

Adient US LLC in Normal, IL is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am). You will manage daily route manifests, verify shipping windows, maintain yard and trailer movements, and track packing slips and BOS requirements to support production lines.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience, manufacturing exposure, proficiency with Excel, and basic ERP knowledge. Forklift license is required and safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years shipping/receiving clerk experience or similar
• Manufacturing/Distribution experience a plus, automotive exposure beneficial
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily route manifest logs and ensure shipping windows are met
• Update and maintain BOS and packing slip records; track trailer movements and inbound receipts
• Maintain dock/yard inventory, trailer tracking, and returnable containers
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and BOS requirements for shipping/receiving
• Operate with minimal supervision; maintain CTPAT requirements and forklift license
