Job summary

ADUSA Transportation is seeking a dispatcher to manage drivers and coordinate the flow of goods to retail stores efficiently, safely, and legally. You will assign drivers and equipment, route inbound and outbound loads, and act as a key contact for customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the transportation function and DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet production standards and use a computer for data entry and research.

Responsibilities

• Notify stores of delivery schedule changes and conflicts.
• Dispatch loads and maintain delivery logs for tickets and inbound/outbound inventory.
• Assist drivers as needed and coordinate salvage pickups when required.
• Prepare required reports and manage work through the Transportation System.
• Coordinate with carriers to balance workloads and plan backhauls.
