Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate daily delivery operations from Pavilion, NY. You will plan, schedule, and dispatch material deliveries to ensure on-time service and maximize fleet utilization.

Responsibilities include communicating with drivers, customers, and plant teams, adjusting schedules as needed, and documenting all activities. A background in logistics and proficiency with dispatch tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation coordination, dispatching, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think geographically and balance fleet, production, and customer priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations by planning, scheduling, and dispatching material deliveries.
• Analyze capacity, truck availability, and customer priorities to maximize fleet utilization.
• Adjust delivery schedules in response to changing priorities and production demands.
• Serve as primary communication link between drivers, customers, plant personnel, and operations teams.
• Monitor fleet activity with dispatch software and GPS, making timely decisions to minimize delays.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and ensure safety and compliance.
