Job summary

Sealy Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher in Houston to coordinate daily transportation activities for a small driver fleet. You will schedule pickups, assign loads, and communicate delivery instructions to keep operations running smoothly.

You will maintain driver updates, monitor ETAs, and support customer inquiries while ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong organization and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum two years of dispatching or transportation coordination experience preferred.
• Experience in trucking, logistics, or freight transportation preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch for three company drivers.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain driver communications and provide route updates.
• Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and shipping documents.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance.
• Identify routing improvements to reduce costs and improve service.
