Job summary

Auto Driveaway seeks a Logistics Coordinator to support dispatch and driver coordination for national vehicle relocation services. The role involves coordinating with drivers, staff, and customers while handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to drive about 60% of the time and handle moving vehicles, with strong organizational and customer service skills. Health and retirement benefits are provided; a smoke-free workplace is observed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or dispatch.
• Strong logistical and geographic skills with proficiency in Windows/MS Office.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and solve problems with dispatch staff and drivers.
• This role requires driving (approximately 60%), and may require driving for extended periods.
• Move and deliver vehicles as needed.
• Ensure all driver documents are complete and imaged.
• Assist with the payment and loading of driver funds.
• Assist with calling and confirming delivery points.
• Provide phone coverage and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Implement departmental checklists and follow procedures.
• Complete and update order system work assignments accurately.
• Interact professionally with drivers and staff.
• Assign drivers to available loads.
• Foster a team-oriented work environment.
• Prioritize safety in daily activities.
