Job summary

Crane, a leader in logistics, seeks a dedicated dispatcher to ensure client needs and commitments are met, dispatch drivers and respond to driver calls while maintaining DOT compliance.

You will maintain shipment paperwork, update the dispatch database, and coordinate with drivers to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered on time. This role requires strong organizational skills, basic math, and reliable communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• 1 year of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Client needs and commitments are met.
• Dispatch drivers and respond to Drivers calls.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered.
• Maintain information on shipments and ensures proper paperwork required.
• Update data base on all dispatched move.
• Other duties as assigned.
