Job summary

Bowman Andros is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily inbound and outbound transportation, shipments, and warehouse coordination. You will prepare documentation, schedule loads, and liaise with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries and compliance.

This role supports KPI reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement across the supply chain, with exposure to safety standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, food safety regulations, and transportation requirements.
• Experience coordinating transportation schedules and working directly with carriers and freight providers preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bills of Lading to customer specifications; maintains warehouse storage.
• Reviews Customs paperwork for accurate input to company database.
• Communicates load information to drivers and internal staff for smooth delivery.
• Maintains multiple records and logs for regulatory and auditing purposes.
• Checks in driver arrivals, logs paperwork for receiving accuracy.
• Reviews inventory against daily orders and coordinates with Customer Service for accurate processing.
• Maintains KPI data: order efficiency, inbound/outbound movement, and related metrics.
• Ensures shipments conform to legal weight requirements and PO matching.
• Acts as bridge between Customer Service and carriers for outbound transportation.
