Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Laredo, TX to manage transactional duties for customer accounts, coordinating with carriers, and supporting border crossing operations to ensure on-time delivery.

You will be the primary day-to-day contact, work with internal teams to resolve issues, prepare reports, and assist with planning and bid adjustments for 3PL accounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year logistics or related experience; Bachelor's in logistics/transportation or business field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with TL carriers using ProTrans' TMS.
• Support border crossing operations with Border Crossing team and notify customers of customs deviations.
• Arrange expedite shipments and liaise with Expedite team.
• Assist customer plants with daily operational issue resolution.
• Escalate service level issues to Operations Manager.
• Communicate holiday schedules and internal adjustments.
• Inform customers of performance exceptions and delays.
• Distribute necessary reporting daily, weekly, monthly.
• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely billing.
• Understand client logistics plan and submit changes.
• Enter bid requests to adjust plans.
• Handle unplanned requests for the customer.
