Job summary

ProTrans International in Laredo, TX, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to handle transactional work for accounts, coordinating with carriers and internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the customer experience.

The role covers day-to-day customer service at the plant level, including coordinating pickups, border crossings, expedites, issue resolution, and reporting while supporting billing processes with AR.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of logistics or supply chain experience, or a relevant degree.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with cross-border shipments and customs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries and confirm exceptions.
• Facilitate border crossing coordination with the Border Crossing team and inform customers of customs deviations.
• Assist customers with daily operational issue resolution.
• Escalate service level issues to Operations Manager.
• Distribute reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely billing.
