Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Des Moines to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment. The role involves coordinating workload among staff, preparing work orders, and handling data entry in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

You will interact with carriers, customers and management, requiring clear communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and flexibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workload allocation among warehouse workers, material handlers and drivers.
• Prepare work orders; troubleshoot orders and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Assign and release orders sent for loading and unloading.
• Allocate and research inventory for orders.
• Enter data for inbound and/or outbound freight into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and create bills of lading (BOLs).
• Maintain and generate required reports.
• Process, audit and file various documentation.
