Job summary

Findlay Tall Timbers Distribution Center is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative to coordinate order flow between customers, carriers, and the warehouse. You will manage transportation scheduling, shipment accuracy, and provide timely updates on inventory and delivery status from an office within a warehouse facility.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with computers including email and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries related to orders, inventory, and transportation.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and customer requests.
• Enter and maintain customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
• Process inventory transactions and depletion activities within company systems.
• Research inventory requests and assist customers with stock-related inquiries.
• Review order details to ensure compliance with customer requirements and service expectations.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight with approved carrier partners.
• Arrange pickup and delivery appointments while monitoring shipment progress.
• Work closely with transportation providers to resolve scheduling challenges and service issues.
• Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and customer portals.
• Partner with warehouse personnel to ensure customer orders are processed and shipped accurately.
• Assist in coordinating special customer requests and operational priorities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and logistics operations.
