Logistics Customer Service Representative 2 (7562)

Description

The Logistics Customer Service Representative responds to customer inquiries or complaints regarding the organization’s products or services. Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization’s policies. Coordinates problem resolution with appropriate departments. Informs customers of standard procedures or resolutions. Must be knowledgeable of the organization’s products, services, procedures, and practices. Responsible for order management from purchase order to shipment. Serves as the primary contact for independent distributors and COD branches. Supports Sales Managers by generating revenue through sales leads, prospect calls, and building relationships with customers. Responsible for meeting sales quotas and monitoring competitive activity within the territory.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Order fulfillment and maintenance, opening customer accounts, updating records, and assisting with product information.
  • Monitoring shipment schedules and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Educating customers on product features and benefits.
  • Collaborating with Sales Managers on pricing and customer details.
  • Handling returns, claims, and resolving product or service issues.
  • Following up to ensure customer satisfaction and reporting issues.
  • Maintaining financial accounts and preparing reports based on customer data.
  • Contributing to team efforts to achieve business objectives.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • HVAC product and market knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data entry.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze information.
  • Strong teamwork, ethics, and relationship-building skills.

Experience: 3–6 years in customer service within the HVAC industry.

Education: High School diploma or GED.
