Job Description

The Logistics Customer Service Representative responds to customer inquiries or complaints regarding the organization’s products or services. They determine the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization’s policies. The role involves coordinating problem resolution with appropriate departments, informing customers of standard procedures or resolutions, and being knowledgeable about the organization’s products, services, procedures, and practices. Responsibilities include order management from purchase to shipment, serving as the primary contact for independent distributors and COD branches, and supporting sales efforts through lead generation, prospecting, and maintaining customer relationships. The position also involves monitoring competitive activity and trends within the territory.

Position Responsibilities
  • Order fulfillment and maintenance, including opening customer accounts and updating records.
  • Assist customers with product availability, pricing, order status, and other account functions.
  • Educate customers on product features and benefits to enhance sales and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers on pricing and customer details.
  • Answer product and service questions, suggest additional products/services.
  • Process RMAs, transfer requests, credit/debit adjustments, and damage claims.
  • Resolve product or service issues, follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and report issues.
  • Maintain financial accounts and prepare customer reports.
  • Analyze customer information to recommend products/services.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve results.

Experience

3–6 years of customer service experience within the HVAC industry.

Education

Manager, Customer Service/Order Services
