Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Customer Experience Associate to join our in-office team. This entry-level role offers a 12-week paid training program and exposure to a family-owned transportation company.

You will learn and perform duties across quotes, shipments coordination, scheduling pickups, tracking, and customer communications while building positive relationships with clients and sales reps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing 40 wpm or faster.
• Telephone customer service experience helpful.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word and Email.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general LTL and volume quoting.
• Coordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipments.
• Schedule pick-ups.
• Trace shipments and provide freight charges.
• Process re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customers.
• Process fax and Internet requests.
• Handle Managed Accounts and special requests from customers and sales reps.
• Resolve customer issues and respond to questions; maintain positive relationships.
• Meet monthly department telephone and email goals.
• Receive and direct incoming calls for PITT OHIO and affiliates.
• Represent the PITT OHIO brand in a friendly manner.
• Greet clients and visitors and notify staff of arrival.
• Provide information and assistance to clients and customers.
• Maintain welcoming environment.
• Adapt to changes in product and duties.
