Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a PT Operations Admin Customer Service associate at our Cinnaminson, NJ location. This role focuses on supporting transportation operations with strong customer service, data entry and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers by phone, email, and fax about freight charges, pickups, tracing, and PODs; processing paperwork, invoices, and payroll-related tasks; and assisting supervisors, drivers, and dock staff

Qualifications

• Command of the English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus.
• Experience with Haz-mat or worker's compensation is helpful.
• Problem solving and analytical ability are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software products.
• Strong typing and ten key skills.
• Some night shift hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate (via telephone, email, and fax) with internal and external customers on freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, SDC'ing of freight bills, and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Help process and monitor paperwork and Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
• Assist in monitoring and compliance in areas including new hires, safety, P&D, OS&D, payroll, and accounts payable.
