Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers through proactive communication, accurate order management, and dependable service from our Milwaukee location.

The CSR collaborates with Account Managers, Outside Sales, and the Logistics team to ensure timely quotes and orders, while delivering high-quality service and maintaining our Midwest Values. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of CS experience, proficiency with common business tools (MS

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience (logistics/transportation preferred).
• Proficiency in typing and navigating common business systems (Email, Microsoft tools, McLeod).
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate positivity and willingness to contribute to team success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular, proactive communication with existing customers.
• Respond to inbound quote requests from the Customer Service inbox.
• Provide support to Customer Account Management (CAM) team with servicing customers.
• Work collaboratively with CAMs, Outside Sales, and the Logistics team.
• Prepare customer reports under the direction of CAM team.
• Enter orders accurately into company systems and verify information.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service with responsibility.
• Escalate issues appropriately when beyond scope of authority.
• Maintain regular attendance and follow company policies.
• Participate in training and development activities and meetings.
• Identify and share opportunities to improve processes and communication.
