Job summary

Xpress Global Systems (XGS) in Tunnel Hill, GA is hiring an entry-level Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced, safety-focused team. You'll act as a liaison, provide product information, answer questions, and resolve issues for customer accounts, primarily during standard business hours 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to multi-task across several systems including AS400.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have proven ability to multi-task.
• One year of customer service experience on a queue line preferred.
• One year of office experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Typing minimum of 40 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume inbound calls on the customer service queue line.
• Respond to questions regarding tracing and tracking freight shipments via phone, e-mail and fax.
• Update and change information in the AS400 to correct errors and update shipment status.
• Prepare ad-hoc and standard reports on current shipments for management and customer review.
• Interface with Service Centers and Agents regarding shipment status and resolve customer issues.
